| 1) | A confirmation that no prior liens exist on the real property is required. Acceptable forms of a lien search are a title policy/commitment, attorney's opinion on letterhead from a law office or title company authorized to do business in Texas confirming that no liens exist on the real property. If any liens do exist, a release or consent from the lienholder is required. | ||||
| 2) | According to your email, the home that you are attempting to title is a double-wide home. This home is a single wide home. We will require a corrective application for the correct double-wide home. | ||||
| 3) | In order to proceed with your application, the department requires a Lien Search on the real property where the home was located, based on department records. Lot 17 Hidden Hills Harbor, Section 3; 206 Oak Hills, Mabank, TX) | ||||
| 4) | It appears that this home has moved since the home was perfected as real property with the Department. Upon research with the CAD, it appears that a double-wide home currently is on the 10 ac tract and not a single-wide home. Please verify that this single-wide home has been moved to the new location (10 acre tract). You may submit legible pictures of the Texas Seal that is attached to the outside of the home. We will also required proof that Arion Pierce owned the single wide home in order to sell it to Kerrinne Morrow. An affidavit of fact signed by Arion Pierce can be completed explaining how he obtained ownership of the single-wide home. | ||||
| 5) | We have not received the information requested in the last letter sent to you. Therefore, until such time the above referenced documentation is received, the department cannot issue the Statement of Ownership. Please do not resend this application until all the requested information has been obtained. | ||||
